Carling |

Carling is skilfully
brewed using lightly kilned British malts, aromatic hops
and Carling's unique yeast to create a malty, sweet
flavour, balanced with a hoppy 'clean flavoured'
bitterness, and the aroma of freshly harvested grain.
Great lager is all about the best ingredients and
creating the perfect balance - Carling has both. |

John
Smith's |
|
This ale is prepared in a
can for export with a 'widget' to get that nice fine
poured head of a Guinness. The fine head is accompanied
by a mild aroma and golden brown colour. A bit sharp at
the beginning, this beer becomes quite mild in the
middle and finishes just as mildly. It is a fairly tasty
beer, though not outstanding. |

Woodpecker
Cider |
(4.2
% Alcohol, )
Woodpecker is one
of the more understated ciders in taste. However, if
you are looking for a light, champagne-like cider,
Woodpecker is a teaser as to whether it is distinctly
sour or sweet. There is nothing heavy or solid about
this cider. It's all flowers, perfume, and of course
apples. |
